Their sound is that of pure adrenaline, with heavy guitars and aggressive vocals that are raw, powerful, and always IN YOUR FACE. Genuflect is a new project by Drew Simollardes and Greg Sullivan, the lead vocalist and guitarist from the former Boston based rock group Reveille. After splitting apart back in late 2003, Drew and Greg reunited several months ago and began writing songs again. The lyrical focus revolves and evolves around religious terrorism, oppression, morality, and the human psyche. Drummer, Scott Wilson, and bassist, Steve Hart, have joined the project to complete the group. Genuflect continues to write and will be releasing their first full length album in early 2007. During the writing process, they will be performing a few select shows in the New England area. Stay tuned for more updates and information. The time has come for revelation... Prey for a Prayer.
